AM Demodulator (or) AM Detectors:
- Demodulator is a circuit which is used to recover the original modulating signal from a received signal at the receiver.
- It is the reverse process of modulation
Types of AM Demodulators:
- Linear Detector
- Coherent Detector
- Ex: Synchronous Detector
- Non-Coherent Detector
- Ex: Envelope Detector
- Non-Linear Detector
- Ex: Square Law Detector
In this blog, the envelope detector method is explained.
