Propagation Constant, Wavelength and Velocity of Propagation of the Transmission Line

Propagation Constant of the Transmission Line:

  • It is the measure of the variation in the amplitude and phase of the EM waves per unit length of the transmission line.
  • It is defined as " the natural logarithmic of ratio of the sending current or voltage to the receiving current or voltage".
