Radiation Resistance:
- The radiation resistance represents the radiation by the antenna
- It is represented as "Rr" - It is the fictitious resistance which will represent the radiation by the antenna.
The value of Rr depends on:
- Configuration of antenna.
- The point where radiation resistance is considered
- Location of the antenna
- Ratio of length to diameter of the antenna
Antenna Bandwidth:
- It is defined as the range of frequencies within which the performance of the antenna conforms to a specified standard characteristics.
Front to Back Ratio (FBR):
- It is the ratio of the power radiated in desired direction to the power radiated in opposite direction.
- Higher the FBR, better the antenna performance
