Parity Bit:
A Parity bit is an extra bit which is added to the transmitted binary information to make the number of 1's either odd or even
It is widely used for detecting the errors in the received binary information in Digital Communication system
Parity Generator: It is the logic circuit that generates the parity bit at the transmitter side.
Even Parity: Even number of 1's in the Binary Information
Odd Parity: Odd number of 1's in the Binary Information
Parity Checker: It is the logic circuit that checks the parity bit in the received binary information at the receiver side.
