Design of Analog Butterworth Lowpass Filter:
- Find the order of the filter 'N'
- Round off the order 'N' to the next higher integer
- Obtain the transfer function of an analog Butterworth Filter H(s) for the value of N and assume the cut off frequency is 1 rad/sec
- Calculate the cut-off frequency
- Find the transfer function of the Analog Butterworth Lowpass Filter Ha(s) for the calculated cut-off frequency
Problem Solved:
Design an analog Butterworth filter that has -2dB passband attenuation at a frequency of 20 radian/sec and at least -10dB stopband attenuation at 30 radian/sec.
