Comparison of Positive Feedback and Negative feedback:
Positive Feedback:
- When an input signal and feedback signal both are in-phase, it is known as positive feedback.
- The feedback signal is added to the input signal to get the desired output
- It is also known as Regenerative Feedback
- It is used in Oscillator Circuits
- Poor stability
Negative Feedback:
- When the input signal and the feedback signal both are out-of-phase, it isknownas negative feedback
- The feedback signal is subtracted from the input signal
- It is also known as Degenerative Feedback
- It is widely used in Amplifier Circuits
- High Stability
