Digital Multiplexer:

  • It is a Combinational circuit which accepts several data inputs and selects only one output at a time.
  • It is also called as "Data Selector" - It selects one of many inputs and directs it to the output
Applications:
  • MUX is used in digital systems for data selection, data routing, waveform generation and logical function generation
